– Youth Ministries
Our children’s ministry is in a growing process and a multi-aged Sunday School class is being offered. As our Sunday School attendance increases, age/grade specific classes will be formed.
The Village Church holds an annual Vacation Bible School program that has been very successful in reaching many children age 3 to grade 6. Programs vary in themes from year to year but the church always puts together a program with a balance of biblical education, great music and lots of FUN!
– Adult Ministries
Our adult Sunday School class is a real ministry unto itself. Other than our morning worship service, this is our most consistent ministry. From September to the end of May each Sunday morning at 9:00 am the adults gather for an hour of enriching open discussion around God’s Word. It is a good opportunity to grow in knowledge of Scripture in a judgement-free zone.
Our ladies have a Thursday morning Bible Study at the church beginning at 10:00 am.
– Under Construction –
The most visible outreach ministry into the community that the church is involved in is the local food pantry. Although the food pantry is housed at and administered primarily by church personnel, it is truly a community run ministry. Much of the funding is from the Town, the general public and other organizations (schools and businesses) as well as the church. The Food Pantry is its own 501 (c)(3) organization and fiscally a separate entity from the church.
Each month the pantry produces an allotment of food to approximately 25 households in our community. The regular distribution time is the first Wednesday after the 10th of the month from 8:00 – 10:00 am and 5:00 – 6:00 pm. If you are unable to get in during those hours and need to make an appointment, call Mark Day at 845-3155.
On behalf of the clients, Thank You to all who donate to this ministry. If you are not donating and would like to, call Mark Day at the number above. The volunteer staff works hard to assure that no one goes hungry in our town.
